Sam qualified as a NZPGA Professional in 2011 and joined the North Shore Golf Club in 2015. Over the last 10 years Sam has become a well renowned coach in New Zealand and continues to have a large following of students.
Sam’s coaching model suits a wide range of golfers, with an emphasis around the body movement to increase longevity in the game. By surrounding himself with other professionals and service providers such as 3d Biomechanist and medical professionals, he has enhanced his expertise. This gives Sam access to some of the world’s best practices for all aspects of the game.
Sam enjoys and gets great satisfaction from helping all level players achieve their goals and adapting programs to suit each individual. One of his strength’s lies in the ability to take juniors from ‘having to play golf’ to loving golf. With this passion turning a number of young athletes into national players and achieving on the national and international scene.
